Born in Athens, Greece, George Sardis discovered a love for films at an early age, going after school every Friday at the local video cassette rent store in the early 90's and watched Hollywood movies during weekends as an escape from the usual everyday life. Although he never stopped watching and learning things about movies and filmmaking certain circumstances lead him after high-school at the Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I.) of Thessaloniki, where he studied for a year Marketing (2002-2003). After this first experience away from home he returned to Athens and continued his business studies at the Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I.) of Athens, studying Business Administration (2003-2006). Before he finished, he seriously reconsidered his life and choices because he wasn't feeling content with the path he was walking so far.
He made it to Wales, UK where he studied (BA) Filmmaking (Screenwriting and Directing) at the International Film School of Wales, University of Wales. After graduating from IFSW with Honors, he got accepted at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles at the MA in Filmmaking course, to which he is currently a student.
He has already started to writing his first scripts and stories and making short films. While filmmaking (movies, music promos, commercials) remain his main focus in life, he is also interested in writing, photography, art direction/illustration.
